I think the best way to do that would probably be to link good past threads on those topics. questions that frequently get asked here ("when to buy badges instead of land" seems to be a common theme, for instance). I am thinking about adding a FAQ specific to the sub, i.e. Right now the FAQ tab on this sub consists of a link to the game FAQ and links to the rest of our socials. The idea would be to be able to give y'all more solid timelines and details than in the past (but please don't be mean about how Ari used to do it). Would that be something you would like to see? They would likely be a little different, and I wouldn't bring them back right away. It has come to my attention that Ari used to do these, to let you guys know what the devs had been up to that week and what sorts of progress were being made. You won't be penalized if you don't do so during the transition period, but it would be cool of you. I encourage you to get in the habit of using the Grandstand and Archives as soon as possible for these types of posts, and, if nudged, to consider moving the post to the Grandstand or Archives, as relevant. This post will be edited again when removal time begins (there may also be a post about it, depending on how frequent of an issue it proves to be). Please note that this week and maybe a bit longer than that, posts that belong in the Grandstand or the Archives and are posted separately will receive a nudge in the comments from a mod, but after that they will be removed. It will be posted by a mod, around noon, every Monday. It will be a Wednesday thing.ĮDIT: The Grandstand is here! This is one of the weekly threads discussed in Item 3 below, and is for milestones and the like. Like the Grandstand, it will go up weekly around noon or in the early-ish afternoon. As always, please do not argue with mod decisions.ĮDIT: The Archives are here! This is the second weekly thread and will be used for more generalized progress-logging. For now, expect things to be on the stricter side while boundaries are clarified. It is up to mod discretion which posts get nudged and removed and which may get to stick around. There may be some exceptions to this rule (for instance, if the post is also about something else, or brings up another point alongside the milestone/log). You should also be able to anonymously report threadable posts now as a result of this change. Starting next Friday, April 21st 2023, there will be no warning- such posts will be removed with the Put It In A Thread removal reason. Starting today, any post that could go in one of the weekly threads (see below) but is posted as its own post will receive a day's warning before being removed. Getting serious with the weekly threads here. Posts that belong in one of the weekly threads (Grandstand or Archives) and are posted instead as independent posts will be removed with the Put It In A Thread removal reason with no written warning from now on.ĮDIT: New rule: Put It In A Thread. They are as follows:ĮDIT: The grace period for Put It In A Thread has ended. Hello everyone! As this new mod settles in, I'm noticing some changes that could maybe be made around here, if y'all are interested.
